GIRLS Vice president

Organization: Mount Si Lacrosse Club
Location: Snoqualmie, WA
Job Type: Part-Time/Volunteer


Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to serve as the Vice President of our non-profit high school girls lacrosse team. The Vice President will work closely with the President and Board of Directors to oversee the organization's operations, support the coaching staff, and ensure the success of the lacrosse program. This role requires strong leadership skills, a passion for youth sports, and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive environment for all participants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the President in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the organization.
  • Manage and maintain seasonal event schedules.
  • Support coaches in program design and development
  • Support the Head Coach and coaching staff in planning and conducting practices and games.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve the organization's goals.
  • Manage fundraising efforts and community outreach initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive team culture.
  • Represent the organization at meetings, events, and in the community.
  • Monitor and support the academic progress of student-athletes.
  • Communicate effectively with players, parents, coaches, and board members.
  • Assist with organizing team events, activities, and travel logistics.

Qualifications:

  • Strong willingness to network with local teams and girls lax governing bodies (WSLA).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the President, Board of Directors, and coaching staff.
  • Commitment to promoting sportsmanship and academic achievement.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Coaching experience in Washington State.
  • Proven track record in fundraising and community engagement.
  • Knowledge of non-profit management principles.

GIrls high School Assistant coach

Location: Mount Si High School, Snoqualmie, WA
Job Type: Part-Time/Seasonal

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic High School Girls Assistant Coach to lead our High School Program. The ideal candidate will support the Head Coach in all aspects of the girls' sports program, including planning practices, developing game strategies, and mentoring student-athletes. This role requires a passion for sports, a commitment to fostering a positive team environment, and the ability to inspire and motivate young athletes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Coach in planning and conducting practices and games.
  • Provide individual and group coaching to improve players' skills and performance.
  • Help develop game strategies and analyze opponents.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all student-athletes.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive team culture.
  • Monitor academic progress and support student-athletes in balancing sports and academics.
  • Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school administration.
  • Attend all practices, games, and team meetings.
  • Assist with organizing team events and activities.

Qualifications:

  • Previous coaching experience, preferably at the high school level.
  • Strong knowledge of the sport and its rules.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the Head Coach and other staff.
  • Commitment to promoting sportsmanship and academic achievement.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Background check clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred but not required.

Registrar

Job Summary: The Lacrosse Club Registrar is responsible for managing all aspects of player registration, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with league and club policies. This role is crucial for the smooth operation of the club and requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with players, parents, and coaches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Player Registration: Oversee the registration process for all players, including online registration, fee collection, and verification of required documents.
  • Database Management: Maintain and update the club’s player database, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for registration-related inquiries from parents, players, and coaches. Provide timely and clear communication regarding registration deadlines, requirements, and procedures.
  • Compliance: Ensure all players meet eligibility requirements and comply with league and club policies. Verify player age, residency, and other necessary documentation.
  • Reporting: Generate and distribute registration reports to club officials, coaches, and league administrators as needed.
  • Coordination: Work closely with the club’s treasurer to manage registration fees and financial records. Collaborate with coaches to ensure rosters are accurate and complete.
  • Event Support: Assist with the organization and execution of registration events, tryouts, and other club activities as needed.

GIRLS YOUTH DIRECTOR

Job Summary: The Youth Lacrosse Club Program Director is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of the club’s lacrosse programs. This role involves strategic planning, program management, and ensuring a positive and enriching experience for all participants. The Program Director works closely with coaches, players, parents, and the club’s board to promote the growth and success of the club.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Development: Design and implement comprehensive lacrosse programs for various age groups and skill levels. Ensure programs align with the club’s mission and goals.
  • Coaching Management: Recruit, train, and supervise coaches. Provide ongoing support and resources to ensure high-quality coaching and player development.
  • Coaching: Work with specific age groups on weekly game plans and drills to run.  Youth Directors can be called upon to coach during regular and off season events.  
  • Scheduling: Coordinate practice schedules, game schedules, and tournament participation. Ensure efficient use of facilities and resources.
  • Player Development: Monitor and evaluate player progress. Implement development plans and provide feedback to players and parents.
  • Community Engagement: Foster a positive and inclusive club culture. Engage with the community to promote the club and its programs. Organize outreach activities and events.
  • Compliance: Ensure all programs comply with league regulations, safety standards, and club policies. Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Budget Management: Assist in the development and management of the program budget. Ensure programs are financially sustainable and resources are used effectively.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for program-related inquiries. Communicate regularly with players, parents, coaches, and the board.
  • Event Planning: Organize and oversee club events, including tryouts, clinics, and tournaments. Ensure events run smoothly and provide a positive experience for all participants.

  • Meeting Coordination: Schedule, organize, and attend club meetings. Prepare agendas, take minutes, and distribute them to relevant parties.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of club activities, including meeting minutes, correspondence, and membership lists.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for club communications. Distribute information to members, respond to inquiries, and ensure timely dissemination of important updates.
  • Documentation: Manage and archive important club documents, such as bylaws, policies, and procedures. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
  • Event Support: Assist in the planning and execution of club events, including tournaments, fundraisers, and social activities. Coordinate logistics and provide administrative support as needed.
  • Membership Management: Oversee the membership process, including applications, renewals, and maintaining an accurate membership database.
  • Liaison: Act as a liaison between the club and external organizations, such as leagues, sponsors, and community partners. Ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Compliance: Ensure the club adheres to all relevant regulations and policies. Assist in the preparation and submission of required reports and documentation.
